The Iraqi army has announced that two people were killed and three others were wounded by an attack that targeted the Jurf al-Nasr area in Iraq’s Babil province, amid the US and Israel’s confrontation with Iran, reports Anadolu.

Iraqi media reported that a rocket attack hit an object belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iraq said that Iran’s top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, informed his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, that Tehran will continue to defend itself and that its response will target US military bases in the region, in accordance with Iran’s right to self-defense.
