Friday, September 18th 2026

Kosovo students marched today at noon from the National Library to Skenderbeu square, protesting against the sentencing decision of the Special Court in The Hague against the KLA foursome. Ilir Cani, representative of the students, called for the protest to be peaceful and for there to be no youth revolt. He said that this event was organized in support of the leaders of the KLA while it was prompted by, as he added, the unjust decision that was taken against the other day in The Hague. From the National Library to Skenderbeu Square, they cheered for the KLA, while they also called out the names of the four Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi. Time after time they also sang songs with patriotic motifs. The students were joined in the protest by a small group of citizens.
