Lionel Messi continues to make history in his adventure in the United States.Inter Miami has triumphed in the Campeones Cup, after defeating Cruz Azul 2-0, in the final held at Nu Stadium. The Argentine captain unlocked the game in the 24th minute, scoring with a header after Luis Suárez's assist.This goal was special for Messi, as it was his 100th goal with the Inter Miami shirt, in only 115 appearances.In the 81st minute, he assisted with a corner kick for Casemiro, who headed for 2-0, sealing Inter Miami's triumph.For Inter Miami, this is the fourth trophy since Messi's arrival, after the League. Cup in 2023, Supporters’ Shield in 2024 and MLS Cup in 2025.Meanwhile, for Lionel Messi, this is the 48th trophy of his career, further expanding his record as the footballer with the most trophies won.A historic night for Messi, who at the age of 39 continues to be decisive and collect trophies in another extraordinary chapter of his career.
