The Kosovo Police has issued a communiqué regarding the protest that is expected to be held today by the Organization of Veterans of the War of the Liberation Army of Kosovo, (OVL-UÇK) to oppose the conviction against the former senior leaders of the KLA. In the communique, the Police has called on the participants in the protest to protest peacefully. of security for citizens and participants in the protest, the Kosovo Police calls on all participants in every protest to respect the legal provisions and the instructions of police officials, to show caution and prudence during the protest, not to throw objects and strong tools, not to use masks and to contribute to the protest taking place in a calm and safe manner", says the Police communique. Further, the Police has done know that, due to the protest, there may be temporary interruptions of traffic on some roads leading to the squares of Pristina. "Due to the development of the protest and the movement of the participants, there may be restrictions or temporary interruptions of traffic circulation on some roads that lead to the squares of the capital, therefore engagements of police traffic patrol units have also been foreseen, in case of need for reorientation of traffic on alternative roads", it is further stated in the announcement of the Police. The Police has announced that, regarding today's protest, it has undertaken all the necessary operational preparations.
