The Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted after the decision of the Special Court in The Hague, in which the former leaders of the KLA were sentenced. In a reaction, the LDK said that no judgment can undo the historical truth of Kosovo. "No judgment, not even this one today, can undo the historical truth of the war in Kosovo. The Serbian regime committed genocide and crimes against humanity; carried out a vicious campaign of terror and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo; massacred innocent civilians, killed children, women and the elderly, used violence, forcibly expelled the population and burned and destroyed entire villages and towns. These crimes were systematic, the consequences of which still burden thousands of families today. In the face of this cruelty, the people of Kosovo fought for survival and freedom", says the reaction of the LDK. Furthermore, the LDK appealed to the citizens for calmness and prudence.
