Explosion hits Istanbul, 4 dead and more than 20 injured

Istanbul – An explosion on Saturday hit Istanbul’s central Istiklal Street in the Beyoglu district.

According to initial reports, people were wounded in the blast.

After the blast, several fire-fighting vehicles and ambulances were seen rushing towards the scene.

Security forces evacuated the area, while the street has been closed to traffic.
