Kosovo is ready to create its army

Authorities in Kosovo are getting ready for the necessary legal amendments for the creation of Armed Forces.

President of the country, Hashim Thaci said on Sunday that the law on Kosovo Security Force (FSK) will be amended.

Thaci made these comments during a parade of the Security Force in the framework of the three-day manifestations in commemorating the 19th anniversary of the battle of Prekaz, which also marked the start of the two-year war in Kosovo.

President of Kosovo has vowed that Kosovo will soon send the bill for the creation of the army of Kosovo to parliament in order for the young state to have its own army./IBNA/
