The Council of the Islamic Community of the Region of Gora has condemned the hanging of the imam of the village of Zlipotok in the municipality of Dragash, calling on the institutions to clarify the circumstances of the case as soon as possible.

In a statement to the media from this council, the believers are called to be restrained, not to spread unconfirmed information and respect the privacy of the family.

It expresses its sincere condolences. and deeper for his family, relatives, congregation and all believers who knew and appreciated him. We ask Almighty Allah to forgive the sins of our deceased imam Gazma, to accept his good deeds, to reward him with the highest place in Paradise and to grant his family patience (sabr) and strength to face these difficult moments.

“At the same time, we strongly condemn this serious act and call on the responsible institutions to clarify all the circumstances of this event as soon as possible. tragic, so that justice will be served. We also call on all believers to show dignity in these difficult moments, refrain from spreading unverified information and respect the privacy of the deceased’s family”, the statement says.

Also, the council emphasizes that the case is not related to the work that the deceased performed.

“Based on the information we have so far, this murder happened for private reasons and as a consequence of a personal dispute. This serious case, which has affected all of us, had no religious motive and is in no way related to the religious duties that the deceased imam exercised in the village of Zlipotok. We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the deceased Gazma, to make him a resident of Paradise and to give patience and strength to all his relatives and loved ones.
