The government approves the report on the control of public finances and the opening of the Confiscation Fund

The incumbent Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held the 26th meeting in electronic form, where it has approved several important decisions in the field of public finances.

At this meeting, the executive has approved the Annual Consolidated Report on the Operation of the Internal Control System of Public Finances for 2025, which evaluates financial management in public sector entities.

Also, the Government has approved the decision to the authorization of the Ministry of Finance to undertake the necessary actions for opening a dedicated account within the Treasury Single Account, named “Forfeiture Fund”.

According to the decision, this account will serve for the acceptance and recording of income arising from the confiscation of property, based on final court decisions.
