The Police of Kosovo announced that on Thursday, as part of the implementation of a tactical operational plan on the mountain road of the village of Korminjan in the municipality of Ranillug, two vehicles were identified that had entered the territory of Kosovo through illegal mountain roads from the territory of Serbia”.

During the control, the police said that various goods without delivery documentation were found and seized, which are suspected to have been illegally brought into the Republic of Kosovo. it turned out that the goods are not equipped with documentation on the origin or customs procedures, while according to the inscriptions they were produced in Serbia. With the authorization of the guardian prosecutor in Gjilan, vehicles and goods were seized and sent to the customs terminal for further evaluation and storage procedures. Regarding the case, the relevant legal procedures have been initiated, while the investigations will continue by the competent unit of the Kosovo Police in cooperation with the Kosovo Customs, it was said in the KP announcement.

This institution said that it remains committed to fighting smuggling and other illegal activities in the border area, with the aim of protecting the legal order, the economy of the country and the security of the citizens.
