Earthquake in Elbasan

A seismic shock with a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale hit the area of ​​Elbasan this afternoon, causing concern and panic among residents.

According to preliminary data, the earthquake was felt in several areas around the city, while many citizens reported that they went out of their homes after the shocks.

Until these moments, no material damage or injured persons have been reported. The authorities continue to monitor the situation, while seismological experts evaluate the activity of the area after the impact.

Shakes of low and medium magnitude are common in our country, but often cause strong reactions in citizens due to the uncertainty they create.
