The water search and rescue team of the Kosovo Security Force will join the operation to find the missing person in Batllava Lake.

The news for Klankosova.tv was confirmed by Vellazrim Qerimi from the KSF who emphasized that, after receiving information from the Situation Center of the Republic of Kosovo, the search and rescue team will start the operation to locate the the person reported missing.

Qerimi also announced that the operation will be carried out in coordination with other institutions engaged in the field, which have already started the search.

According to the Kosovo Police, at around 13:00, information was received that a person entered the water and was not seen to come out afterwards.

The news was confirmed to Klankosova.tv by the Police spokesperson, Enis Pllana, who said that immediately after receiving the notification, the police engaged the relevant units, as well as the search and rescue teams, to locate the person.

The authorities have announced that the search and rescue operation is still ongoing, while other information is expected on the case.
