Why do the US and European media remain silent to the incidents in Germany?

The incidents continue, which triggered by the evacuation of a culture center in Hamburg on December 21.

These incidents given little coverage by the media in the United States and Europe continue to be ignored by the world’s leading news agencies.

Known as the meeting place for 25 years of leftist and autonomus groups and evacuated last month, the Rote Flora culture centre has drawn the reaction of the opposition in Germany with the incidents surrounding it.

The attitude by the world’s leading news organizations of turning a blind eye to the incidents in Germany for which the Berlin administration has somewhat declared a de facto martial law, sealing the lid on them, has brought to mind the application double standards.

The silence of the European Union,which showed a vociferous reaction to the incidents in Turkey and Ukraine, clamouring to blow the so-called turmoil out of proportion, seems rather meaningful.

The people of Hamburg and the opposition lawmakers qualify the tough measures implemented by Berlin as an outright violation of human rights.
