For the case, the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pej has filed an indictment against two of the defendants, with the initials V.H. and A.K.

According to the Prosecutor, V.H. it is suspected that during the period from May 26, 2021 to September 29, 2023, in the village of Lubeniq in Pej, he falsely presented himself as a doctor specializing in a hospital in Turkey and promised the injured that he would enable the transplantation of kidney.

For the alleged implementation of this procedure, according to the indictment, he is suspected of having requested and received from the victim various sums of money, perhaps for hospital expenses and procedures related to transplantation. against the law of financial benefit, it is suspected that he deceived the injured party, putting and keeping him at a distance through the false presentation of facts, it is stated in the announcement of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pej.

Further, the Prosecutor’s Office claims that V.H. has falsely used data, documents and names of doctors from a hospital in Turkey, with the aim of creating the conviction of the injured that the transplant would be carried out.

As a consequence, according to the indictment, the injured of Material damage was caused in the amount of 134 thousand and 761 euros.

In this case, the defendant A.K., who is suspected of having helped in the commission of the criminal offense, is also involved. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, he notified the injured party of V.H., falsely presenting him as a doctor in Turkey and creating trust regarding his competences and possibilities for organizing a kidney transplant.

As for the other person involved in the case, who, according to the indictment, is suspected to have presented himself as a kidney donor, the criminal procedure is “separated”, the Prosecutor’s Office announces.

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pejë says that, with these actions, there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendants have fulfilled the elements of the criminal offenses for which are accused.

When the indictment was filed, the prosecutor proposed to the court that the defendants be found guilty and sentenced according to the law for the criminal offenses they are charged with.

The defendants are considered innocent until a final decision of the court.
