Kurti in Bondsteel at the change of command ceremony: The role of the US and KFOR remains key to peace and security in Kosovo

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has participated in the acceptance ceremony of the Command of the Regional Support Group in the Balkans of the US Army from Colonel Kurt A. Rorvik, at Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj, the Office of the Prime Minister announced.

The Regional Support Group in the Balkans, as stated by the OPM, serves within the framework of the US Army for Europe by providing technical supervision, expertise and assistance to the Command Regional – Birth at Camp Bondsteel, within the framework of KFOR.

“The role of the United States of America and KFOR in general has been and remains irreplaceable in maintaining peace, security and stability in the country and region”, says the OPM announcement.
