Kurti’s message for 2026: The budget, the 13th salary and the ceiling price law

The Prime Minister in office, Albin Kurti, with a video published on his Facebook profile, congratulated the citizens of Kosovo for the New Year 2026.

He thanked them for their trust in service for the next four years.

Kurti said that with the formation of the government, “without wasting time, the approval of the budget, the approval of the law on ceiling prices, the 13th salary for employees will be done civilian, the lifting of employment restrictions for KLA veterans, the package to deal with inflation…etc”, he wrote on Facebook.

He also spoke about the country facing four elections in 2025, stressing that they passed “without incident and with results accepted by all”.

“Kosovo no longer needs to pass the test of democracy”, said the head of LVV.

However, in the description of the video, Kurti wrote;

“Happy 2026! I wish you a pleasant evening, an unforgettable celebration, with family and friends. I have promised you safety and prosperity. I assure you a safe and prosperous new year”.
