The legend of French football, Michel Platini, has revealed his favorites for winning the Ballon d’Or, singling out the star of Paris Saint-Germain, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Platini believes that the triumph in the Champions League can give an advantage to the Georgian footballer, while several other big names are expected to be in the competition.

“For the Ballon d’Or, I would place a small bet on the player of Paris Saint-Germain, Kvaratskhelian”, declared Platini. Explaining his choice, the former French star said: “He won the Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain.”, writes 04 Online.

Platini added: “Championship means playing a lot of games. And there are four or five other players who deserve this award.” Meanwhile, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has supported Kylian Mbappe, who during the summer became the best scorer in the history of the World Cup.
