Lazio's aggressive pressing and the high tempo of the match created difficulties for the Croatian midfielder, who was replaced in the second half by Yunus Musah. This change helped Milan get back into the game and secure a draw. Coach Ruben Amorim admitted that Milan must create more suitable conditions to utilize Modric's qualities.
