When those who hate him become morally inferior to him

“Do not be driven by hatred to do injustice”, says the Qur’an, where God advises His servants not to cross the moral line towards someone whom they can rightly hate, by covering him with untrue things or by doing him other kinds of injustice.

This was the case yesterday with the scattered footage of Rama somewhere in Switzerland, accompanied by a completely slanderous comment about who he was spending Albanians’ money. Unproven, this is typically a slanderous slander of one whose hatred, however legitimate, leads to injustice. We cannot fight the evil of a man with slander, slander and other unworthy behavior towards him under the heat of hatred for his evils in governance.

Rama himself responded hours later to this, writing and finalizing what he wrote with reference to the holy books, where more precisely, what he claims is found in the Qur’an. There, prejudice (accusation without facts) is considered more serious than murder.

“When I see how the world we live in has become more and more thanks to social networks, a lawn where endless thorns multiply at the speed of a click, while the flowers of truth are often smothered by thorns, I always think of the Holy Books, where the slanderer appears even worse than the murderer”, he writes at the end of a reaction, as he defends himself by saying just above:

“In almost three decades of public service, I have never traveled privately with state funds and the same applies to my family.

In 13 years as prime minister, my family and I have never gone on vacation abroad.

In Switzerland, I was privately invited by ArtBasel, the annual fair of the most prestigious art galleries in the world, where my works were also presented. We traveled and stayed for a day and a half with my wife, as always in these cases, at our own expense”. Apart from that, he does not bring any concrete and reliable evidence for what he says and claims.

It is not at all necessary to slander Rama in the wind, just like that. He is a leader with other clear evidence of his misdeeds against the country and the people he governs. And let them be judged, as they are being judged in the square. /square
