Tirana – Russian Academician Alexander Rusakov says Russia should definitely recognize Kosovo.

Rusakov is in Tirana upon the invitation of the Faculty of History and Philology of Tirana University to participate in a scientific conference about the well-known Albanian writer Ismail Kadare.

In a long interview to the journalist Roland Qafoku from “Debate on Channel One”, Rusakov, who is a very good connoisseur of Albanian language, literature and culture, says there is no reason for Russia to continue to not recognize the state of Kosovo.

“It definitely needs to be done and there can be no more hesitation,” said Rusakov, who a part of his studies on Albanian language and culture has finished in Kosovo.
