The Central Labor Inspectorate has stopped work in 12 workplaces after inspections carried out in the municipalities of Skenderaj, Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Prizren and Ferizaj.
According to the Inspectorate, serious violations of legal provisions were found during the inspections, which posed a serious risk to the lives and health of workers. 12 workplaces, until the elimination of all evidenced irregularities and the creation of safe conditions for work”, the announcement states.
The inspectorate has announced that the resumption of work will be allowed only after the inspectors ascertain that all legal requirements and safety standards have been met.
The Central Labor Inspectorate has warned that it will continue intensive controls throughout the territory of Kosovo and that it will not tolerate violations that endanger the life and health of workers.
