A person was arrested in yesterday’s action against extortion in Prizren, which was carried out by the Directorate against Organized Crime of the Kosovo Police and the Basic Prosecutor’s Office.

The same person is known to the justice authorities, as he has a criminal past.

Egzon Reshani was involved a few months ago in a case of exchange of fire, where two people were injured.

Reshani was detained for 48 hours until his the request from the prosecuting authority to determine the measure of detention is also expected.

“We are within the legal deadline. When we make the request, you will be notified in time”, the spokeswoman of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Prizren, Fitore Mehmeti-Sejrani, declared for Klankosova.tv.

Four other suspects are still being sought: B.K., GJ.K., E.K., E.K, who are suspected of the criminal offences: “Usury”, “Unlawful deprivation of liberty” and “Coercion”, provided for in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
