Prishtina – In an announcement, Veseli said he had undertaken a very important step for himself and his family.

“Following consultations with my wife, my family and colleagues and after receiving many messages of support from PDK voters, I have decided to ask party members for their confidence and support to take over the responsibility of party’s leadership,” he said.

He expressed his confidence that this new task can in the best way fulfill his political vocation and serve best to the Republic of Kosovo.

Leading contender for the leadership of the largest party in the country, Kadri Veseli, has also once again expressed gratitude to the former chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, his friend and comrade, Hashim Thaçi.
